Welcome to Sandhill Guest House which is located in the little village of Begbroke, only 15 minutes drive from Oxford City Centre.
We offer a relaxed and friendly rural retreat with a touch of luxury - somewhere where you can unwind following a day out exploring the City of Oxford, visiting Blenheim Palace in Woodstock or the lovely Cotswold villages.
On arrival you will receive a warm welcome and the chance to relax after your journey with a cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake.
The rooms are warm and the beds are so comfortable, giving you a good night's sleep.
In the morning you may enjoy a delicious breakfast of your choice from a wide selection of food for meat eaters and vegetarians alike, and made with the best local produce.
Our guest house has 2 double bedrooms, elegantly decorated to a modern design.
Rates include overnight stay and breakfast. Both rooms include double beds.
Double room - single occupancy from £50 per night
Double room - two people occupancy from £70 per night
We accept payment by cash, cheque and credit/debit cards. We require your credit/debit card details to secure the booking but no payment is taken until your arrival.

This is the Thames Valley area’s primary regional business aviation and commercial airport and includes Europe’s foremost centre for professional pilot training; Oxford Aviation Academy (just 5 minutes drive from Sandhill Guest House) .
This wonderful palace is is the home to the 11th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. (10 minutes drive) .
The City of Oxford
There is a huge choice of activities and attractions in the city. Why not visit the museums, Botanic gardens, Christ Church Cathedral and of course, the university colleges. There are boat trips available, punting on the River Thames, guided walking tours and open-top bus tours. (15 minutes drive).
Bicester Village designer shopping outlet
The outlet is a dream destination for designer shopping and the super smart shopper seeking luxury at desirable prices. (20 minutes drive).
Cotswold Wildlife Park
This fascinating park is set in 160 acres of parkland and gardens and home to a varied collection of mammals, birds, reptiles and invertebrates from all over the world. (30 minutes drive).
Why not visit the beautiful Cotswold villages, such as Burford (30 minutes drive) and Bourton-on-the-water (45 minutes drive).
Or visit Shakespeare’s home in Stratford Upon Avon (50 minutes drive).
Directions From Oxford:
Head north on the Woodstock Road (A4144). At the Wolvercote roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A44. The next round about is the Peartree interchange. Take the 2nd exit to stay on the A44 (signposted Evesham). Continue on the A44 over the next three roundabouts. At the 4th roundabout (the Royal Sun public house will be on your left) go all the way around the roundabout as if you are going back the way you came. As you pull away from the roundabout, take the immediate left turn into Begbroke (and pass a car sales garage). Then take the 2nd right into Begbroke Lane and follow until at the end of the lane where you have to turn right into Sandhill Road. We are the 2nd house on the right hand side.
