300 year old farmhouse in ANOB overlooking the Clun Valley. Within walking distance of the pretty little town of Clun. Experience real ale pubs and a different pace of life in this unique farming community.
Clun hosts many annual activities; Green Man Day; Clun Carnival and in October, Clun Valley Beer Festival.
The Old Farmhouse has spacious ensuite rooms and can accommodate parties of up to 8 people comfortably. Guest lounge and conservatory. Own separate dining room. Extensive gardens.
We are within easy reach of the lovely markets towns of Bishop s Castle and Ludlow.
Ludlow is now a centre of excellence for restaurants, good cuisine and locally produced food. It hosts the annual Ludlow Food Festival.
Bishops Castle is very lively-beer festivals; the Michalemas Fair; an annual jazz festival and live music at many venues most weekends.
The area is full of places of historic interest:
Bury Ditches; Stokesey Castle; Powis Castle; Ironbridge; Shrewsbury; Chrurch Stretton.
There are many other castles and National Trust properties nearby.
The area is close by well known walking routes; The Shropshire Way; Offas Dyke; Jack Mytton Way.
We are committed to using local produce where practical. The Old Farmhouse offers a full range of cooked breakfast-full English and vegetarian. We can provide evening meals on request.
The house itself has a host of original features-oak beams; inglenook fireplace.
