Our lovely 17th century Cottage offers old-fashioned hospitality combined with every modern convenience. We offer bed and breakfast accommodation in large double bedrooms, all en-suite. The Green, Clunton is situated off the main B4368 Craven Arms to Clun road behind the Crown Inn Public House, a sleepy backwater where time seems to have stood still. Cross the Clun River bridge and we are here.
Grade II Listed our Cottage has been restored to enhance and restore the architectural features, Inglenook fireplaces and a wealth of beams to name but two.
Our 2 Letting rooms are furnished to a high standard reflecting the period s this cottage has been through... ever fancied sleeping in a Four Poster Bed, then book the Tudor Room to fulfil your dream.

Situated 30yds. from the River Clun the Cottage nestles in a hollow, guests can enjoy the fantastic views of the surrounding countryside from Sunrise to Sunset, a host of wildlife to be enjoyed by all and pleasant walks in Clunton Coppice or through the country lanes. Ideally located for the Historic Towns of Ludlow and Church Stretton, Stokesay Castle and Clun Castle. Acton Scott working Victorian Farm (as seen on BBC) is a short distance away. Plenty to do and see around the Shropshire Hills.
The Crown Inn Public House is just a 2-minute walk away, offering a good varied menu, Real Ale on tap.
