We have two luxurious ground floor rooms with en-suites (one with wet room) easily accessible via a pretty courtyard set within stunning Shropshire countryside. Rooms have comfortable beds, soft fluffy towels, dressing gowns, slippers, essential kits, luxury toiletries, shoe shines, chocolates, garden bird guides and fresh flowers. LCD tvs with freeview, dvd & radio plus usb. Alarm clocks with ipod/iphone dock too.
The accommodation is full of character including beams and log burner in the cosy lounge. There is a choice of breakfasts from locally sourced produce including free range eggs with home cured bacon and sausages from the prestigious Battlefield 1403 Farmshop served on fine china.
Within walking distance, there is a public house (Red Lion) with live music nights, shop, post office, fish and chip takeaway, hairdressers with beauty salon, village hall (open to non-members), tennis court, cricket ground and children’s play area. Fishing can be undertaken at Merrington Green, The River Severn or one of the meres in Ellesmere.
This is a village gone back in time located 4 miles north of Shrewsbury, the county town of Shropshire. With views towards Pim Hill, which rises to 163m and covered in Rhodendrums in early summer, Bomere Heath is easily accessible to Shrewsbury, Ellesmere, Oswestry, Chester, North Wales, Ironbridge Gorge, Church Stretton, Bridgnorth and Ludlow.
The car parking area consists of gravel but there is a concrete path from a dropping off point outside of the accommodation for your ease and convenience. Ramps are available. You will find car parking spaces close to the self-contained bedrooms either at the front of or at the side.
