Lavender House
Lavender House, was built in the Edwardian era and is set in a quiet conservation area of Bath on the southern slopes. It is a lovely area well away from constant traffic of the main roads. Graded Five Diamonds - Gold Award there are four lovely En suite rooms - one on the ground floor and one single room with private bathroom., Two of the rooms are suitable to be let as Triples.
The elegant dining room is decorated in pinks and greens and looks out over the lovely garden, which is full of interest throughout the year.
We grow our own vegetables in season, and we offer an extensive range of breakfast alternatives and have understanding of the importance of alternatives to the norm, such as soya or rice milk, dairy free spread, gluten free cereal and special wheatfree bread. We look after any needs guest may have, and take care of any special requirement. Personal attention is what we are good at, and making guests feel at ease and at home.
There is a small sitting room with TV/DVD and CD player where you can relax. It's easy to walk into town (15 to 20 minutes) and several bus routes pass by at the end of the road. We help with fining Restaurants, booking taxis, and we collect those travelling by train or bus from the Station.
The two cats Rosie and Cheeta (who really run the place) live here with Carol & Bill. Many people come to visit our feline friends as well as the Roman Baths! We all look forward to meeting you with a smile! Lavender House is the purr..fect place to be spoiled, and recover lost energies.
