Harptree Court is an idyllic Georgian country house set in its own extensive grounds. It is an ideal destination for a relaxing or romantic break. You will get the ultimate in British hospitality and we will do our best to accommodate your every wish.

Arrive in time for a complimentary home made cream tea (scones freshly made for you) and you may have it served in the shade of a catalpa tree in summer or in front of a roaring log fire in winter.

We were recently awarded 5 Stars with a Silver Award by Visit Britain - one of the very few 5 Star Bed and Breakfasts in the region.

We have three beautifully furnished bedrooms, two are en suite and the third has adjacent private facilities. All the rooms have comfortable beds, televisions with DVD, hospitality trays, flowers, chocolates and magazines as well as magnificent views over the gardens. We have a large guest sitting room with TV and deep relaxing sofas.

Close to historic cities of Bath, Bristol and Wells. Ideal for exploring the Mendip Hills, Cheddar Gorge and picturesque Chew Valley lake. 13 miles from the popular National Trust property of Tyntesfield.

Breakfast is served in our elegant period dining room which looks out over our parkland. Ducks, deer, woodpeckers, foxes and birds of prey are occasionally seen by our guests at breakfast time but are not guaranteed! Our breakfasts include home grown and local food in season. Choose from a selection of buffet items including fresh fruit salad and/or stewed fruit with Greek yoghurt, fruit juice and cereals followed by traditional English Breakfast or one of our speciality toasted muffins perhaps with creamy scrambled egg and smoked salmon.

Our kitchen garden is currently being brought back into use and provides us with an increasing range of delicious ingredients. We only use free range eggs from a neighbour across the road. Ample off road parking. No smoking is allowed in the house. We are lucky to have an excellent local pub only 300yds away and there are many other good pubs close by.
