Winston House
Jayne and Frank who own and run Winston House have had many years experience in Bed and Breakfast and have received 4 stars from the English tourist board. So you are guaranteed a warm welcome, a good night's sleep and most important of all a hearty breakfast. Cyclists and walkers are welcome and one of our rooms is suitable for small well behaved dogs but please ask first. We always try to make our guests stay as pleasant and easy as possible and are willing to drive you to local churches for weddings or events on request.
Off street and private car parking is provided at the front of house. Secure lock up facilities are available for bicycles and outdoor equipment.

From £28 per person per night, based on two persons sharing a room.
Single occupancy from £40 per person per night.

A family room is available, prices on request, prices may vary throughout seasons.
Bedrooms
Winston House has 3 bedrooms a double, twin and family, all have luxury well equipped en-suites. Colour TV, radio, hair dryer and amenities for tea and coffee making facilities with delicious biscuits.
Crisp white cotton bed linen and quality towels ensure that your stay is a very comfortable one.
Twin
Located on the Ground floor with its own access our twin bedroom is perfect for those who want even more peace and quiet. Its en-suite has a bath, overhead power shower and flat screen TV. Small well behaved dogs may be allowed on request.
Double
A comfortable room with en suite equipped with power Shower. The double room also has Flat Screen TV and views to the Mendip hills.
Family
A Spacious room and large bathroom with power shower and flat screen TV, sleeps up to 4 with Z bed for 4th person with views to the Mendip hills.
Dining Room
Breakfasts are served between 7 and 9 o'clock weekdays and 7:30 to 9:00 weekends, other times as requested.
Winston House Breakfasts have gained a well deserved reputation for quality and variety.
A choice of continental, Aga cooked full English breakfast or fish alternative is available as well as a buffet choice of cereals, fresh melon, strawberries, various fruits and yoghurts, croissants and locally baked white and wholemeal, bread/toast. Porridge is also available.
Full English breakfast consists of: bacon, sausage, egg (fried, scrambled, poached), hash brown, tomatoes, mushrooms and fried bread. Vegetarian options are also available.
Traditional English tea, fresh filter coffee and a choice of fruit juices are
provided.
Directions
From M5 Motorway
Exit the motorway at junction 21 (Weston-Super-Mare) and follow A371 signposted Cheddar and Wells. As you enter Wells from the direction of Cheddar, Winston House is 1/4 mile along the main road on the right hand side.
From Bath/Bristol A39
On entering Wells, get into the right hand lane, proceed along the bypass (Mounterey Rd) at the third set of lights continue straight ahead onto the Cheddar Rd A371. Winston House is 200 yards further along on your left.
From Glastonbury A39
On entering Wells, take the first exit at the roundabout into Strawberry Way. Continue straight ahead at the crossroads. At the next set of lights turn left onto the A371 Cheddar Rd. Winston House is 200 yards further along on your left.
From Shepton Mallet A371
On entering Wells, take the second exit at the roundabout into Strawberry Way. Proceed straight ahead at the crossroads. At the next set of lights turn left onto the Cheddar Rd A371, Winston House is 200 yards on your left.
