Bindon Cottage en-suite accommodation in a country setting but only 4 miles from Taunton town centre. Family rooms available. It is in the perfect location for exploring the local area, with areas such as Exmoor, the Quantock Hills and the Blackdowns within a few miles.

The north coast with its attractions of Minehead, Porlock, Valley of the rocks. Exmoor with its breathtaking scenery and the Doone Valley .The west Somerset Steam Railway is only up the road. Taunton racecourse has several meetings a year.

There is an equestrian centre a mile away. Oake Manor Golf course is on its doorstep and is open to the public. It offers a lunch and dinner menu in its clubhouse.

The village of Hillfarrance offers a country pub, the Anchor Inn, that has lunch and evening meals and is only a short stroll away. Taunton has a wide range of sporting facilities, such as Blackbrook Pavilion, which incorporates the Taunton Tennis Centre, Wellsprings Leisure Centre, and Taunton Pool for swimming.

Taunton has a fine park in is centre where the Taunton Flower Show is held every year. The Brewhouse theatre has a wide selection of plays and performances. Hillfarrance is a perfect location for exploring the local area being equal distance between the north and south coasts.

One stop up the motorway to the north Devon link road, giving you access to the lovely sandy beaches and surf of the north Devon coast. Dartmoor is only a short hop down the motorway. Sidmouth, Seaton and Lime Regis, the famous Jurassic Coast. Many historic houses are dotted around the area such as Knightshayes Court.
