Cherry Orchard Cottage
Cherry Orchard is a quintessentially English cottage dating back to 1762. Warm and cosy in winter when visitors can huddle up by the log fire, whilst in the summer breakfast can be taken outside in our lovely, but very private cottage garden.
Our delightful cottage style bedrooms have colour TV and DVD players, complimentary beverage trays, and bottled water. The en suite bathrooms have both baths and showers, fluffy white towels and luxury toiletries.
The village of Curry Rivel is located in the Somerset levels just 9 miles from Junction 25 on the M5 and is ideal for exploring a variety of local attractions including Cheddar Gorge, Clarkes shopping village, the Fleet Air Arm Museum, Montecute House, and the Bridgwater Carnival. Further afield, Lyme Regis on the south coast and Watchett on the the west coast are both about an hours drive away.
We are also handy if you wish to break a long journey down to or from Devon and Cornwall, so that you can arrive at your destination without the stress of many hours of travelling.
At breakfast we use the finest local produce, freshly prepared and served at your leisure at the farmhouse style table.
Cherry Orchard has a strong commitment to saving the environment. Visitors are encouraged to help save the planet by appropriate recycling, and consideration of energy use.
Guests are welcomed with a cup of tea on arrival, and in winter the opportunity to toast their own teacake on the log fire.
