Stay in our spacious family run period home, which is Grade II listed and once formed part of the St. Louis Convent which has many historical connections with the town of Glastonbury. Its unique location opposite Glastonbury Abbey overlooking the Abbey grounds is only minutes from the hustle and bustle of the High Street which has many Unique Shops and Cafe Bars. Glastonbury Tor and Chalice Well are an easy walk away.

We provide a high standard of luxurious spacious accommodation. The bedrooms are newly furnished and all en-suite. All beds have memory foam mattresses or toppers. A well-stocked hospitality tray, hairdryer, Digital Free View TV and wireless internet access are also provided.

The Cathedral City of Wells, Bath Abbey, The Royal Bath & West Showground, Clarks Outlet Shopping Village, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Stonehenge, Longleat Animal Park, Hestercombe Gardens, West Somerset Railway, Fleet Air Museum, are a short drive away. Theatres including The Playhouse, Octagon, Brewhouse, Merlin, Hippodrome, Old Vic and The Royal are within easy driving distance. Bristol Airport is within easy reach and Castle Cary Railway Station is twenty minutes by taxi, which can be booked at your request.

There are many Picnic Spots and Viewpoints in and around Glastonbury for a full day out visit Blackdown and Burrington Combes, Coombe Hill Wood, Deer Leap, Ebbor Gorge, Glastonbury Tor, Stockhill Forest and Wearyall Hill. Places of Worship include St. John the Baptist, St. Benedit's, St. Mary's. The Caves at Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole are approximately thirty minutes drive away. By the Coast approximately forty-five minutes drive away to Weston-Super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea and Brean Sands and just over one hours drive to the South Coast of Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, West Bay & Bridport.

Walking in the nearby hills of Mendip, Quantock, Polden, Shapwick Heath and Ham Wall National Nature Reserve. Horse Riding at Burcott, Ebborlands and Divoky Riding Schools, Golfing at Mendip and Wells Golf Courses. Fishing at Glaston Manor.

Cyclists Welcome Award held via Quality in Tourism 2011/2012
Cycle Hire can be arranged locally with cycle paths criss crossing the Somerset Levels for safe and relaxing cycle routes.

No smoking in the house but use of garden available for those who wish to smoke outside. Some parking available in private car park at the rear of the building. All the produce used in our extensive breakfast menu is locally sourced. We have a separate refrigerator for non-meat items. Special diets can be catered for, please ask when booking.
