Flornorvan is a family owned Bed & Breakfast run from our home in Kinver, located opposite Kinver Scout Camp we have three lovely letting rooms and two very well appointed guest bathrooms.
With a variety of architecture in the village & walks on national trust ‘Kinver Edge’, we also benefit from a selection of pubs and top class restaurants all within walking distance of our home.
Our rooms are maintained to the highest standards. Truly a welcome respite after a day out visiting local attractions, or walking through the countryside.

Pubs & Restaurants
Basils - Serving quality food from an extensive, reasonably priced menu, Basils is a homely restaurant based in High Street Kinver.
The Six Ashes - Stuart Plant has worked for some of the UK’s finest restaurant including Gary Rhodes Manchester and offers modern European style cuisine
The Cross Inn - Serving quality real ales and bar snacks, this is a must for those who enjoy well kept beers.
The White Harte - An old coaching inn part of the Marstons brewery chain offers pub food and Marston’s beers.
The Swan - Is located in Kingsinford some 5 miles from Kinver. The Swan offers a wide range of food and well kept beers. Families welcome
Zoo’s, Parks and Gardens
Kinver Edge - National Trust property located only a couple of minutes walk away from ‘Flornorvan’ The Edge provides a wonderful environment in which to explore and walk off your filling breakfast.
West Midlands Safari Park – a 15 to 20 minute drive away near Bewdley by the River Severn, with a variety of exotic animals in the drive through safari area as well as a wonderful range of funfair rides.
Dudley Zoological Gardens – in the heart of the Black Country has undergone much redevelopment over the years and is a great place to visit for all of the family.
Alrey Arboretum – is about 15 minutes away by car. Set in the side of the Severn Valley, overlooking the river, and the railway, Arley has many excellent and rare specimen trees. Guided walks, visitor centre, cafe, maze, and plant sales.
Bodenham Arboretum – set in beautiful rolling hills just several minutes away by car. Stunning landscapes, gardens, and large pool with many wildfowl. Excellent visitor centre, and cafe serving hot and cold food.
Museums
Severn Valley Railway – The SVR is a full-size standard-gauge railway line running regular steam-hauled passenger trains for the benefit of visitors and enthusiasts alike between Kidderminster in Worcestershire and Bridgnorth in Shropshire, a distance of 16 miles. The journey follows closely the meandering course of the River Severn for most of the way on its journey.
The Rock Houses at Kinver - For centuries people dug into Kinver Edge’s soft sandstone to create their homes, the last cave dwellers only moved out in the 1950&No.8242;s. One of the rock houses has been restored so you can imagine living here in victorian times. There is also and exhibition about the long history of these unusual homes. Located only 10 minutes walk away from ‘Flornorvan’.
Cosford Aerospace Museum – Admission is free to the museum, whish is close to Wolverhampton & Telford, housing 70 aircraft it is home to war planes, missiles, Transport & Training and Research & Development collections.
Iron Bridge Gorge Museum - This collection of 10 museums offers an insight into England’s industrial and social past. Here you can enter a different world filled with Victorian characters in costume going about their daily lives. Fascinating for visitors of all ages.
