Bed & Breakfast at The Cottage, Brandeston
A charming Grade II listed cottage in the village of Brandeston, two miles from Earl Soham. The cottage boasts a lovely wood burning stove for those chilly evenings, ensuring a really cosy stay. In the summer months, there is a patio and seating where you can enjoy a relaxing evening glass of wine should you wish to wind down after a busy day. Your hosts, Bel and Stewart Goldie-Morrison, take great pleasure in ensuring your stay is both hassle free and comfortable.
The cottage is separate from the main house, affording guests total privacy. It comprises a twin bedroom upstairs, sitting room downstairs with a comfortable sofa-bed, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and an attractively tiled wet-room with underfloor heating. There is adequate off-road parking for several cars. Guests benefit from the freedom to come and go as they please and flexibility regarding time of arrival.
Food and Drink
A hearty traditional cooked breakfast is served in the main house but alternative arrangements can be made for anyone needing to 'cut and run' provided they have given advance warning of their needs. Bel and Stewart will be happy to cater for any specific dietary requirements provided there is advance notice.
The Queens Head pub is a short walk away and serves excellent food. Alternatively, there are various other possibilities ten minutes drive away in the market town of Framlingham, well known for its magnificent castle.
Getting to The Cottage
Should you arrive by public transport Bel and Stewart will be happy to organise a taxi for you or chauffeur you locally themselves if they are free to do so.
