Whistlecraft Lodge

Whistlecraft Lodge is a charming cartlodge tucked down a quiet country lane in Wickham Market, Suffolk. Set in the grounds of the owners property, the lodge is an ideal place from which to explore the beautiful Heritage Coast of Suffolk. Aldeburgh, Minsmere and Thorpness are a short drive away. The famous Snape Maltings is within twenty minutes drive and the historic town of Woodbridge is only ten minutes away.

A five minute walk from the lodge will take you into the village where you will find all the local amenities including a small supermarket, the local pub Indian and Chinese Restaurants and Fish & Chip takeaway.

The lodge is a new building and very tastefully decorated. In it you will find a large sleeping area with a kingsize bed, double futon, Freesat TV and DVD player, hairdryer, wardrobe and chest of drawers with a large, ensuite shower room (all towels provided). A small cot (bedding not supplied) and high chair are available. The cartlodge does not contain a kitchen area however we do have tea and coffee making facilities.

You will find our rates very competitive. Prices for the lodge are between £50 and £75 per night, depending on the season. Prices are based on two adults staying with us, additional adults (up to a maximum of four in total) are charged at £25 each per night. We are very family friendly and are delighted to welcome your children under 10 years old for only £10 per child per night. Babies that won't require breakfast are welcomed free of charge. A delicious cooked breakfast is included in the price.

We like to offer an early check in time of 2pm and a late check out of midday. Where we can we will happily accommodate you outside of these times. Unfortunately we can't let you bring your pets and while we're happy for you to smoke outside, we are very grateful that you don't smoke indoors.

Please be aware, there are several stairs up to the lodge so it isn't suitable for the very elderly or infirm.
