The home of Angus and Louise Johnson The Riding Farm House is a traditional stone farmhouse dating back to 1855. The farmhouse has been lovingly restored and is a welcome haven for any visitors to the region.
An ideal base for whether on business or pleasure surrounded by beautiful countryside The Riding is still a working farm with a network of footpaths and cycle ways but only 10 minutes from the A1M you will be amazed at the wildlife you can see from your bedroom window.

Beamish Museum Chester le Street are only 10 minutes away Durham Newcastle Gateshead and Sunderland are an easy 20 minutes. Hadrian's Wall Bowes Museum Alnwick Castle and Gardens are a lovely day out
