Weavers Cottage is a sixteenth century farmhouse with stunning views across the Weald of Sussex to the South Downs. Reputed to have been an 18th Century inn, today it is once again a welcoming guesthouse.

With ample parking and spacious and flexible accommodation,
the Barn is yours to enjoy entirely to yourselves, whether you
are a party of one or six.

The Barn is a separate building in the grounds, giving you complete privacy and flexible accommodation. It has its own parking spaces, two bedrooms, a shower room and lounge equipped with flat screen TV, DVD player & disc library. There is also a CD player, local maps, books, games and umbrellas.

In both rooms you will find fluffy bath robes and towels, complimentary toiletries, hairdryers and crisp white bed-linen. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a standard double bed. Additional single beds are available.

Help yourself to a real coffee or a range of teas and the mini-fridge stocked with complimentary purified water and fresh milk. Wine glasses and a corkscrew are provided so why not bring a bottle of wine to share on the secluded Mediterranean terrace?

Just 30 minutes from Gatwick Airport, you’ll find this is a perfect base to explore the landscapes, historic market towns and many attractions of Sussex, Surrey and the wider south-east of England.

The Weavers breakfast includes locally sourced free range sausages and bacon and we collect the eggs daily from our resident hens. Add to that homemade bread and preserves and local honey; with a choice of cereals, porridge, fruit and yoghurt for those seeking a lighter option.

There are some excellent restaurants within easy reach, but if it is total relaxation you’re after, why not treat yourself to coffee and elevenses, a Sussex cream tea or just a jug of freshly squeezed lemonade? We have the perfect spot to enjoy it; whether it’s in front of a roaring fire in winter or on our secluded garden terrace on summer days.

A selected menu of lunches and evening meals can be provided with a little notice, subject to availability.

The large Mediterranean garden is your private suntrap on a secluded terrace. There is a shady dining area, comfy sofas and sun loungers. As night falls you light the lanterns, help yourself to the warm rugs and plentiful supply of logs for the chiminea. Catch it right and you will be serenaded by nightingales from the woods below the house.
