Helen and Roy offer a warm friendly welcome to all our guests, in a rural setting, yet within easy reach of M1, M62 A1/M1 link. We have beautiful panoramic, green views from every window. Our large southwest facing terrace and well kept garden are there for your enjoyment. Our guests include both tourists and those away on business. Off road parking is also available.
Just on the outskirts of Carlton village, there are two local inns, within walking distance, where you can indulge in a pint of your favourite ale or try an evening meal.
Each double bedroom has a luxury en-suite shower room, radio alarm, hairdryer, lockable safe, shaver point and free tea and coffee making facilities.

Breakfast is made with local Yorkshire produce is served in our traditional dining room, at a time to suit our guest. A sitting room is available to guests with a colour TV, plenty of books and tourist information. Wireless Internet connection available.
The area has lots to offer, the historic village of Rothwell is only one and a half miles away. Leeds is within seven miles, with attractions like the Royal Armouries and the Henry Moore gallery. Wakefield is four miles in the other direction, with the new Barbara Hepworth Art Gallery and the National Coal Miners Museum. Both offer great shopping and night life, and are accessible by public transport very nearby.
A fantastic base from which to explore York, Harrogate and the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, just 50 minutes away. The East Coast of Yorkshire is well worth the 90 minute journey.
