Near Stonehenge B&B
If you want to visit Stonehenge and stay nearby, come to us. Stonehenge is on Salisbury Plain and is quite remote. We are about 15 miles from it and offer a comfortable and memorable stay in our 17th century stone farmhouse on our organic farm. Our herd of Red Poll cattle and chickens provide interest for families and wild life abounds around us.
The Wessex Ridgeway long distance path crosses our land. Longleat, another popular attraction is about 15 miles north of us. Look at our main website for pictures and details of the rooms available. If you want to stay for longer than a few nights, you might like our self catering Old Piggery. It is very comfortable and you can dine outside within the old pigsties and enjoy the magnificent view!
Our large double rooms cost £70-£890 per night including breakfast. For single occupancy, we charge £50.
The Family Room and French Room on the top floor are especially suitable for families and can accommodate up to 6 people. The Edwards room on the first floor has its own private bathroom with separate shower and whirlpool bath. The Old Piggery is ideal if you want to stay longer and cater for yourself.
Longleat is another popular tourist attraction with its animal park and stately home. Salisbury offers a medieval city with a superb cathedral and Shaftesbury is a more homely town in nearby Dorset. The cobbled streets of Gold Hill epitomise the attraction of this countryside area.
