Witherington Farm Bed & Breakfast, Salisbury
Ian and Annette offer bed and breakfast at Witherington Farm in the farmhouse, which dates back to the 17th century and has the character of a house of that age - oak beams, large open fireplaces, and excellent polished wooden floors. The rooms are decorated and furnished to a very comfortable standard. Have a look at our website and see the pictures. We have 5 stars and a Gold Award for Quality.
Around the house we have a beautiful two acre garden which we made ourselves and is much admired. We are winners of the Bed & Breakfast Best Garden competition. You are welcome to enjoy the garden and take a walk over the farm. You will probably see deer, swans and a kingfisher and hear many songbirds.
This is a working farm, primarily arable (wheat and barley mostly), but we have a few sheep and cattle. If you like horses we have a dozen of them. They are not for hire but there are riding stables quite nearby.
If you are looking for peace and quiet, and if you want to enjoy the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, this is the place to come. We are only 15 minutes drive from Salisbury centre, and within half an hour of Stonehenge.
We hope to see you.
