The New Inn Avebury

The New Inn Avebury has very comfortably appointed accommodations all with en suite bathrooms, televisions with free view (loads of channels!!!)and tea or coffee right next to your bed ! Breakfast is served in the dining room downstairs.

Our Restaurant serves delicious home made food most days and traditional cooked breakfasts, also beautiful food and great wines for pre booked events

And...
The Pub serves Real Beer with guest ales and ciders.
The local Ramsbury Ales are usually on tap. We also have a very good wine list.
There is a roaring log fire when the weather demands and we host a number of darts teams

We are about one mile north of Avebury stone circles.

It's a lovely walk past the old Monkton church and along the Winter Bourne to the Avebury Stone Circles or there is a route via the ancient Ridgeway, for the more enthusiastic rambler.

If lucky you might see the famous crop circles. One was seen from one of the bedroom windows one year!!!!!

Silbury Hill and the Long Barrows are also an easy walk. The New Inn Avebury is surrounded by hundreds of barrows of different descriptions and can be recognised by the stands of trees around them. there are standing stones all around us and the remains of a smaller stone circle in a nearby village to the north

We are easy to find.
Nearest mainline Train Station is at Swindon 10 miles
A regular bus service runs to The New Inn.
Junctions 15 or 16 of the M4 motorway are closest at 6 miles.
It takes about 1 hour from Heathrow by car to get to our door.
Bristol Airport is about 30 miles away.
