A pretty, rural, family home situated between Rousse (Ruse) & the Romanian border 60km, separated by the Danube River and Veliko Tarnovo (Turnovo) 40km, the old medieval capital of Bulgaria. Both cities offer an abundance of Culture, Sightseeing and of course value for money Restaurants.
Cherry Blossom is rustic, clean & comfortable.
There is one guest room, which can sleep up to four with a double bed, single bed & pull out mattress if needed. Included in your room is free wireless internet connection, satellite TV, DVD player, CD Radio Cassette player, complimentary tea coffee making facilities, . You have your own terrace available for sitting, dining or enjoying a drink, breakfast will be served on the terrace weather permitting.
Breakfast is included in the price & we have a choice of;
English Breakfast served with Bacon, scrambled eggs tomatoes or baked beans, tea or coffee, bread roll, locally produced jam & honey from our village bee‘s, and fruit from our garden (when in season). Cornflakes & yoghurt can be added as extras.
European Breakfast served with Salami, Cheese, Pastry, bread roll, locally produced jam & honey from our village bee’s & fruit from garden when in season, coffee or fruit tea. Cereal & yoghurt can be added as extras.
Please inform at time of booking which breakfast is preferred.
Extras we offer are;
Bar, serving Rakia, Red wine, White wine,, Beer, lemonade, Coke.
Cakes ,biscuits tea coffee etc for afternoon tea or evening snack.
Light lunch
Evening meal may be possible if arranged in advance.

You will have your own terrace area but are welcome in any part of the garden. There is a pool area with a plunge pool so you can cool off on the really hot Bulgarian summer days.

Our village is a typical real Bulgarian village in the middle of the unspoilt Bulgarian countryside surrounded by rolling hills. With most homes being small holdings every property will have chickens so expect to hear a cockerel or two, though with the double glazed windows you may sleep through! Here a horse or donkey & cart are used by many a village family, you will see the animals grazing happily or wandering round the village on their own! Watch the cows or sheep & goats come home after a day out grazing in the fields. Relax in the garden & listen to the woodpeckers tapping away at the walnut tree, watch the green & yellow birds flitting from tree to tree while you relax on a lilo in the plunge pool or read a book on the sun bed, all this off course after you have found your perfect Bulgarian property or are worn out from all the sight seeing & shopping!
Perfect for when you have your property but need somewhere comfy to stay while you are renovating & a nice respite on your touring holiday through Bulgarian on the way to or from Romania!
We are 5 minuets from the forest where if you are driving back at dusk you may be fortunate to see a deer leap across the road or follow a family of wild boar see huge hare’s & animals we have never seen before!
We have two shops a post office, two coffee shop/bar’s, theatre.
Bring a torch as its very dark after the street lights go out!
We are only 20 mins from a small town with a Wednesday market where you can snap up a bargain & buy fresh locally grown fruits, salads, vegetables & fresh locally caught fish that you can bring back & BBQ. Alternatively Veliko Tarnovo (Turnovo) has a market everyday selling fresh produce. We breath wonderful clean country air, eat locally produced organic food & collect lovely clean spring water to drink (we do have hot & cold running water)

With its stunning architecture and tranquil atmosphere you really will enjoy a relaxing time. It is one of Bulgaria’s most picturesque cities due to its setting on the steep banks of the Yantra river, which meanders beautifully to the Danube. It is a real haven for Fishermen! When you are in Rousse (Ruse), why not try a beautiful trip on the Danube aboard the 'Balkan Princess' a restaurant pleasure ship serving fine cuisine
The region is easy to get to, with the nearest Airport being Bucharest in Romania aprox 2 hr drive or Sofia & Varna are aprox 3.5 hr drive
