In Charente maritime, among oaks and pine trees, between La Tremblade and Ronce-les-bains, two comfortable bedrooms, like guest rooms.

At the first floor of the house, spacious, luminous, they are opened on a 10 m² sunny solarium and overlook the forest.

You can reach easily the sandy beaches of 'la Côte sauvage' and the large pine forest of 'La Coubre' by a long cycle track and enjoy all sea and nature activities (walking, fishing biking, riding, orienteering, sailing, rowing, kayak ...).

Surely, you can't cross through this region without going on a tour on the River Seudre and its specific Oysters activities.

La Palmyre zoo is a wonderful place for a relaxing family outing and for discovering animals from all five continents.

Brouage, 15 km far from our house, was the most important harbour of Louis XIV and the first European place for trading in salt. The walls, built between 1630 and 1640, surround the city in a square enclosure of 400 metres on each side.

Visiting Oléron, you will find out a large variety of landscapes and very beautiful picturesque villages with their low houses, and typical places like Chateau d'Oléron, Fort Boyard, Chassiron lighthouse, La Cotinière port, Saint Trojan ...

Royan, a privileged site at the entry of the Gironde, is a lively, modern, year-round resort which is forward-looking, whilst already having about two centuries of history of sea bathing behind it.

Rochefort is worth a visit for its unique maritime heritage without forgetting the Royal Rope factory, a 374 metres long building , remarkably restored, and impressive in its dimensions and its proportions.
