Villa Bon Vent
Situated in the beautiful Pays de La Loire region of France, close to Brittany, facing the sea and overlooking the yacht basin at La Turballe, close to Guérande, La Baule, La Brière and the saltmarshes, Villa Bon Vent welcomes you all year round, be it for just a weekend or a longer stay to discover the charm of the Côte Sauvage.

What to see and do ?
La Turballe is a fishing port. Walk around the wharves, visit the fishing museum, the fishing co-operative....Bring your rod and fish from the port breakwater or the beach or go out in a boat with a professional guide.
La Turballe borders the Guérande saltmarshes, world renowned for the salt produced here for more than a millenium. By bicycle or horsedrawn cart, take the time to discover this delicate balance created and maintained by Man and Nature. Watch the saltgatherers harvest the famous 'Fleur de Sel de Guérande' using gestures handed down through the centuries.
Tempted by a picnic ?
We can prepare your meal, complete with a picnic backpack.
A gastronomic regional dinner in the company of your hosts can be arranged on demand.
Why not make a day trip to the offshore islands of Houat, Hoëdic or Belle Île en Mer ? Embarkation is less than 100 metres from your bedroom.
Or visit the medieval walled city of Guérande just 6 km from La Turballe. Visit the Porte Saint Michel Museum and the gothic splendour of the Collégiale Church.
The chic resort town of La Baule is only 12 km away - try your luck at blackjack in the casino, relax in a salt water spa, play a round of golf (45 holes on an international course), gallop a horse along the beach at dawn or dusk, visit the boutiques near the casino and on the Avenue de Gaulle.
Explore the eerie world of La Brière in a flat bottomed punt that you pole yourself or take a guided tour in a party.
La Turballe has numerous restaurants offering delicious seafood and other Breton specialties. We will be delighted to advise you and share our favourite gastronomic addresses on the Guérande Peninsula.
