Chateau de La Brosse Bed & Breakfast
The property is approached via a driveway that passes over the grounds, across a line of poplar trees and then through a cluster of horse chestnuts.
There is plenty of parking close to the front steps of the building. These steps take you to the front door that leads in to the large reception/entrance hall.
Next to the hall is the doorway to the dining hall and the bottom of the spiral staircase that provides access to the bedroom areas.
The substantial dining hall features a magnificent chandelier, which hovers above the large 14-place dining table and chairs. The beautiful oak floor sparkles in the sunlight - there are large windows to the north and south of the room creating a very light and spacious feel amongst the darker oak features of the room and its furnishings.
There is also a lounge area with leather chairs and sofas.
The Bedrooms
All of the bedrooms have windows that are double glazed and shuttered. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.
The Master bedroom is dominated by a large curtained oak four-poster bed. There are two bedside tables and a further table and two chairs in the lounge area of the room. The double glazed, shuttered window overlooks the kitchen garden and chapel. If necessary there is plenty of room for a cot. The very large en-suite features toilet, wide wash basin, shower and bidet. The master bedroom, ensuite and twin room form an ideal family suite, having their own access and corridor off the first floor landing.
The twin room is formed of a bed area and a lounge with table and chairs. There are two bedside tables. The double glazed, shuttered window overlooks the kitchen garden and chapel at one end whilst the views through the other end are over the substantial grounds and the village of St Varent in the distance. There is room for a further bed should this be required. The twin bedroom is available with the ensuite or as part of the family suite, having access and corridor off the first floor landing.
The yellow bedroom has a double bed with feature headboard and a large southern facing double glazed window overlooking the grounds and St Varent. There is a lounge area with table and chairs and plenty of room for a further bed or cot if required. The ensuite has toilet, wash basin and shower.
