Charlan A 17th Century Maison de Maitre B&B set on the River Lot, SW France

The location is private and peaceful. The access road that passes by Charlan stops at the River Lot and is only used by ourselves, our neighbour and the occasional local fishermen. Charlan is situated in a quiet rural area, but not an isolated position and is within easy walking distance of the picturesque village, Aiguillon (2km) that offers all amenities, including a supermarket, post office, banks, tourist board information centre, restaurants and a railway station and is within a 10 minute driving distance to the A62 motorway for access to Bordeaux and Toulouse.

The land that surrounds Charlan on all sides, is mainly laid to pasture and lawn, with some mature trees and a newly planted orchard. Charlan also has a 10m x 5m private swimming pool with an outside toilet and changing area. Pool towels are provided.

Room size: 28 m², Queen US Size Bed, 2 seater leather sofa, ceiling fan/light, 2 windows overlooking Charlan's grounds and the River Lot, separate bathroom - 5 m² positioned between first floor guest rooms - bath tub, shower, wash basin and toilet, towels, toiletries and hairdryer supplied.

Double Guest Room - First Floor - Euro 50 per night including continental breakfast.
Room Size: 28 m², Double bed, chez lounge, ceiling fan/light, 2 windows overlooking Charlan's grounds, separate bathroom - 5 m² positioned between first floor guest rooms - bath tub, shower, wash basin and toilet, towels, toiletries and hairdryer supplied.

Three Quarter Bed Guest Room with Ensuite Shower - Top Floor - Euro 50 per night including continental breakfast.
Room Size: 17 m², three quarter antique bed, ceiling fan/light, window overlooking Charlan's grounds, Ensuite shower room 7 m² with toilet and wash basin, towels, toiletries and hairdryer supplied.

No smoking inside the rooms or house (smoking is allowed on the terrace or surrounding grounds)

A shuttle service from the airport or railway station is available upon request. Please ask for details

Check in times are from 4pm to 7pm - Please inform us in advance if you are to arrive any later. Rooms are to be vacated by 11am on the day of departure

Full English breakfast available at Euro 7.00 per person - please reserve in advance
