Le Moulin Fargan B&B/Chambres d'hotes

Le Moulin Fargan is a delightful 17th Century Water Mill situated on its own little island on the River Clain in the picturesque South Vienne countryside, south west France. A quiet and very beautiful place to come and rest.

There are lakes nearby where those who love to fish can fish, and those who paint it is a picturesque place to paint, for those who love bird life there are many different species of birdlife and insectlife, and there are circuit walks in the area for those who love to walk.

We are near to the Chateau de St Germain, nr Confolens, we are 20 minutes drive to the medieval town of Confolens where a well known music festival is held every summer. We are also within reach of the city of Poitiers where there are many things to see and do including Futuroscope, we are within reach of Angouleme where the Circuit des Remparts vintage car rally is held every September, and we are also close to the city of Limoges famous for its porcelaine pottery.

We are a 5 minute drive from the Circuit Val de Vienne race track where many races bike and car are held from May to September every year. There is an all terrain off roading centre nearby, deval karting in the nearby village of Availles Limousine, there are also swimming pools close by in Confolens and in the village of l'isle Jourdain.

There are many different things to see and do in the area to suit different people.

We are close to the Airports of Poitiers, Limoges, Angouleme and 2 hrs from La Rochelle.
