Vue d'arbre bed & breakfast

Our friendly relaxing Bed & Breakfast is set in nearly two acres of garden on the edge of a rural village in the Creuse countryside. But just twenty minutes from the A20 motorway.

We have available three double bedrooms comfortably appointed each with its own ensuite shower or bathroom.

There is a guest lounge area where tea and coffee making facilities are available along with a wide selection of books.

At certain times of the year we have a large swimming pool open for our guests. It is unsupervised and children must be accompanied at all times.

Evening meals are available by prior notification for an extra fee.

For those who would like to explore the local area further we have for hire a selection of bikes. And can recommend several cycle or walking routes with wonderful scenery.

We are just five minutes away from Fresselines with its art centre (Monet spent some time in this area painting) and tennis court.

Crozant is also just a few minutes away and has some lovely old castle ruins which are open to the public during the summer months.

Lac de chambon is approx. five to ten minutes away and has several beaches, a splash pool with slide, marina and a range of water sports.

The Creuse is well known for its many kms of river ways and lakes for fishing. The area is also suitable for painters as there are wonderful sights all around

A bit further afield is Aubusson which is famous for its tapestries and Limoges for its porcelain.

We are approx. one hours drive north of Limoges airport and six hours drive south of Calais. Located in the centre of France we are ideal stopover for those travelling into the south of France or Spain.

There is secure garaged parking available for motorbikes. And we can suggest several good roads to try.

We are a non-smoking house but you are permitted to smoke in the garden (please use the pots provided for your cigarette butts).

Sorry but we cannot accept pets as we have our own dog and chickens.
