Notre Reve Chambre D'hôte

This is a 180 year old farmhouse with large oak beams and thick stone walls situated 10 kilometre north of St Jean D'Angely in the Charente Maritime.

We have 3 double bedrooms and 1 family room each room being fully furnished, complete with wash hand basin, tea and coffee making facilities. Children and baby facilities available.

Continental breakfast is served in the large lounge/dining room, while in the summer months you are welcome to eat in the garden. All guests may have use of the BBQ, (if you would like to cater for yourselves in the afternoon or evening).

The village has it's own swimming pool, tennis courts and an English run pub/ restuarant as well as some shops. Many walks can be had within the surrounding area as well as cycling (there's not too many hills)

There are many places to visit within one hours drive such as LaRochelle (shops, aquarium), Sainte, Cognac (distilleries galore), Niort, Royan and La Palmyre Zoo (The Zoo is reckoned to be the best in Europe), Ile D'Re and Ile D'Oleron ( both ideal for cycling and beaches) Vallee de Singe (Monkey world where you walk around in with the monkeys), Brouage a citadel village surrounded by Marais where you can walk around and see Storks, Eagles, Heron, Egrets in their natural habitat as well as Coypu, and many other smaller attraction, within one and a half hours drive you have Puy de feu and Futurascope These two attractions are highly recommended for people of all ages and definitely worth a visit.

Tariff per night is 33 Euros for 1 person, 40 Euros for 2 persons, 45 Euros for 3/4 Persons Bed and Breakfast.

We are situated on the main D150 route and makes an ideal stop over point if heading South from Niort or North from St Jean D'Angely.

Discount of 5% if staying 4-6 nights, 10% for 7 nights or more.
