Welcome to Les Jourdets, pleasant B&B in a charming and preserved surrounding.

The house is isolated in the forest, half a mile from the small Corbières village of Lairière.

The area is called 'Hautes Corbières' because it is the end of the Mediterranean Corbières and the beginning of the mountainous area of the Pyrénées.

The old vineyards have given place to the forest and this place is going back to wilderness. Boars are certainly more numerous than human inhabitants ...

The B&B part of the house consists of an independent modern building with two rooms (built in 2007) each one with its own bathroom.

A kind of remote and secret place as one cannot imagine finding in the south of France.

Definitely not the right place if you want to pack with the crowd on Mediterranean beaches but the good choice if you are looking for calm and nature.

Although it is remote, it is :

- Less than an hour drive from Carcassonne airport and the famous city.
- Less than an hour drive from Narbonne and the sea.
- Less than an hour drive from the main historic cathar castles of Peyrepertuse and Queribus.
- Less than half an hour drive from the scenic village of Lagrasse.


Evening meal (on request ) with local products and vegetables from our own garden. Meals and breakfast served on terrace. Olivier will make you taste his choices of the best Corbières wines.
