We invite you to visit our beautiful county in South West France This area of rural France is ideal for those seeking a tranquil holiday with easy driving and relaxing places to visit.
For holidays stopovers or house hunting this is the ideal location.

Our house is ideally located between Limoges and Perigueux with Brive to the east. The area is green with 100's of lakes and woodlands so ideal for seeing deer, birds of prey flying in the clear blue sky butterfly's of all colours. Down by the rivers and lakes you might see kingfishers and woodpeckers and jay's are everywhere. Because there are plenty of rural roads and lanes it is good for walking or cycling.

The beautiful market town of St.Yrieix la Perche is only 5km away with its shops restaurants and ancient buildings. Markets are held on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. Nearby is a large recreational lake with a beach swimming and play area.
In the town there is a new sport centre with a big indoor heated pool with water shoots etc. and a outdoor pool when the weather is warm, also at the centre they have tennis courts. There is a famous water colour painting school where you can have lesson from well known artist are just go along and see the paintings and talk to the artist. There are stables for horse riding nearby.

There are chateaus at Coussac Bonnaval Jumilac le Grand and Pompadour, (famous for its stud farm, dessare and racing) all within easy reach.

The ancient town of Segur-le-chateau is on our doorstep, one of the pretty villages in France with a peaceful river flowing through. In July and August on Monday nights there are markets where you can buy local produce and have it cooked for you to eat with your family and friends.

The cites of Limoges Brive and Perigueux are within the 1 hours drive. For those who like to play there are excellent golf courses in the area.

The farmhouse has been sympathetically restored retaining many original features.

There are 2 large double and 1 large twin bedrooms all en-suite. We offer you an evening meal cooked with our own fresh fruit and vegetables whenever possible which is available on request.

We have plenty off road parking. Our house is ' Non Smoking and no dogs allowed inside'.
