B&B A Rigaud

'A -Rigaud' is the name of our beautifully rurally situated farmhouse in the Haute Saône, France Comté in France.

A-Rigaud is located on the edge of a small, very tranquil and quiet old hamlet called Bourguignon-les-Morey and is ideal for a relaxing weeks’ holiday or for a week-end stay in one of the guest rooms, the so-called chambres d’hôtes (bed and breakfast), in one of our apartments accessible within the farmhouse or, on the farmhouse’s camping site.

The farmhouse is centuries old, which has during the past decades undergone many changes and modifications. You can see in the beautiful vaulted ceiling of the wine cellar that the house is built on natural rock. The front and side of the house is surrounded by five and a half acres of ground, which includes three ponds, an old fruit orchard, a vineyard, a large vegetable garden and pastures. Lots of space to enjoy being outside and for outdoor activities.

Our aim is to offer our guests a place to relax and wind down in either the chambres d’hôtes (bed & breakfast), the small camping site, or during the summer workshops and guest arrangements. But that it can also be a place where you can find peace and quiet so that you have time to reflect and think about your personal development.

Bourguignon les Morey lies on the frontier between the Haute Saône and the Haute Marne. It is located in the trans-boundary region between the Vosges and the Jura, in the river basins of the Saône and the Ognon. It is only a 35-minute drive from the beautiful fortified city of Langres, which lies in the Haute Marne region.

Archaeological finds reveal that the area of Bourguignon-les Morey was inhabited 4000 years before Christ. A small museum in the village shows exhibits excavated from the ancient site. A walk to these excavations is a must for every visitor just to experience the atmosphere!
