Jardin du Segala
A warm welcome awaits you at our restored farmhouse located in stunning countryside close to St. Cere in the Lot department. Enjoy a relaxed “home-from-home” atmosphere, staying in one of our comfortable ensuite bedrooms. We also offer evening dinner using fresh local ingredients on 6 nights a week with a vegetarian option. If you would like to explore the area on foot we have a 7 night Walking Holiday Package which includes 6 evening dinners and our specially prepared route guides for the best walks in the area.
Easy access to many of the most beautiful villages of France plus nationally famous sites such as Rocamadour and the Gouffres de Padirac. Local medieval villages include Lobressac, Autoire, Carennac, Martel and Beaulieu sur Dordogne. Also close to the fabulous medieval town of Figeac and the Dordogne and Lot river valleys. Spectacular days out along the river valleys or up into the mountains of the Cantal including a drive to the 2,000 metres high extinct volcano Puy Mary.
For those who like to keep active there are many locations to hire canoes along the Dordogne river and only 5 minutes from the house is the beautiful Lac du Tolerme, a large freshwater lake with beach and cafe for those hot summer days. Alternatively hire a bike and travel the quiet country roads to see the area from a different perspective.
If you enjoy nature, this is a landscape where nature still rules with wonderful birdlife, butterflies and flora. The wildlife comes right up to the house so always keep your eyes peeled!
Enjoy relaxed dining with our other guests either in the dining room or outside on the terrace. If you would like to eat out we have many exciting restaurants locally including two nearby that have a Michelin star - you will eat well at prices much less than back at home.
We have had many lovely reviews from previous guests and you can see some of them on our website. We always aim to make your holiday one you will always remember, so come and visit us.
