Villa Louisiane . B + B in the Var

Lovely spacious (30 sq m) beamed guest room attached to our Provencal Villa. We are set in 2 acres of shady gardens overlooking vineyards and olive groves. Room sleeps 1- 4 with a double bed, a single bed and an extra bed or cot can be provided.

Large en-suite shower room with w.c. T.V., fridge, microwave, kettle and all provided to enable you to prepare a simple meal. There are restaurants within 1-2 kms. Private pool for your use at any time. A substantial continental breakfast is served on the covered terrace.

The local villages have daily Provencal markets. Lorgues (8 km) every Tuesday, being the largest and we are only a short drive (30 mins) from the beach at St Maxime. Draguignan (Centre 5 km) has every amenity and many attractions. Tourtour, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France and renowned for its artists is an easy 20 minutes drive. The lovely Abbey at le Thoronet is about 20 minutes drive.

The region is known for its Rose Wine and there are numerous domaines and châteaux to visit for tasting and buying !

There are also some Michelin starred restaurants or local brasseries to suit all tastes.
The Gorges du Verdon offer canoeing, hiking, sailing etc with truly amazing scenery. We are only 1 hr from Nice, Grasse or Marseille airport and 20 minutes from the A8 Autoroute. The nearest train station is Les Arcs sur Argens/Draguignan 9 kms.
