La Beauconniere

Dean and Susan extend a very warm welcome to you at their beautifully renovated Normandy B&B, ideally situated mid-way between the D-Day Beaches, Le Mont St. Michel and just 25 minutes from the beautiful medieval city of Bayeux, with its World Heritage Tapestry, Cathedral and Battle of Normandy Museum.

The B&B has four large, characterful double rooms and two lovely family suites. All of the rooms have modern en-suite bathrooms. The bed and breakfast rooms are located in the old farmhouse, which is situated across the central courtyard from the owners house, thus affording the guests complete privacy. Peace and quiet are assured in this very tranquil and charming location.

All of the beds are king-size (US queen), 1m 60cm wide, and extremely comfortable. In fact, they have been described as 'the most comfortable beds in France'! Also, the breakfasts are a delightful treat at La Beauconniere, and always feature at least one of Susan's homemade treats.

In addition to being perfectly placed for all of the usual attractions of this beautiful part of Normandy, the bed and breakfast is also ideal for those who enjoy country walking or cycling. Dean and Susan have hundreds of superb walking itineraries available for those who wish to pursue such activities.
There is on-site horse and pony riding available.

Dean is also more than willing to help you plan your D-Day sight-seeing activities as well as offer other suggestions for your daily excursions. He is also used to making dinner suggestions and reservations for the guests.
