Placed in a green and quiet area with a wide wooded garden (equipped of a private parking), Porta Giulia B&B can welcome you in a double room with bathroom and in a suite: 2 double room and bathroom. A rich Italian breakfast is included, served in a wide hall or, during the summer, on the terrace.

Porta Giulia B&B is 5 minutes from the city centre by car, 10 minutes by bike and if you prefer to go on foot you can take a walk enjoying the lakeside; indeed the lake (Lago di Mezzo) is a few meters from our B&B. Previous arrangements it is possible to access the services of a fishing club on the lakeside.

Proceeding towards Verona, after crossing Ponte dei Mulini, one reaches Cittadella. Here stands the imposing defensive structure of Porta Giulia, built from 1530 on, by order of Federico II Gonzaga. Its design is attributed to Giulio Romano. Built using the Doric order, it is unusual for the large internal space structured as a classical style hall.

To the left is a garden leading to the Monument to Andreas Hofer, who sought independence for the Tyrol and who was shot on this spot by Napoleon’s soldiers.

At the Bed and Breakfast in car: Coming from motorway Brenner Mantua North: proceed to Mantua center, after the bridge over the lake, keep right, along the lake, take the bridge on the right at the first roundabout after the bridge first right is way way line.

From the South (Cremona, Parma): follow Hundred City Railway Station, then to Brescia after the bridge over the lake at the first round the first right.
