Villa Lavanda, B&B in luxery villa

Apulia is one of the most beautiful areas of Italy. In our luxury villa in the country-side near Noci and Alberobello we have a bed ad breakfast, but you can also (partly) choose for half- or full board.

Our breakfast is a full continental with home made marmellades as well as cheese, eggs and meats and sausages. We will aks for your wishes.

A cup of tea or coffee during the rest of the day will never be a problem.

You will find yourself in a beautiful, but informal place. The Villa is moke-free on the inside, but on the verandas you can smoke as long as it does not hinder other guests.

On the covered veranda in summer also a Do-It-Yourself-Bar for our guests.

We have 3 bicycles that you can rent.

All Rooms have Air-conditioning or, if you prefer, a ventilator. They also have heating, shutters and mosquito screens.

You can use bathrobes and beach towels and, if you treat them well, Dutch, English or Italian books and a wide range of video-films.

We are Dutch and further speak English and Italian very well, German and basic French.

We live here since 13 years so we can tell you much about Puglia and its special places, its local restaurants as well as good restaurants with local specialities in other places in f.i. Matera and Basilicata.

Lovely beaches, both on the Ionian Sea and the Adriatic. The nearest at only 22 minutes.

We also give lavender workshops and arrangements with our own Lavander and Cooking- and culture arrangements. Cooking for Men is one of the possibillities. We also have a wonderful Christmas- and New Year arrangement.

Made to measure is possible also in combination with your own (business-training) program.

Matera with its cave dwellings and churches with frescos. We know a very good small restaurant here where the owner will treat you very well. They also have a beautifull museum in the Palazzo Lanfranci.
Many films have been shot here, f.a. The Passion of The Christ by Mel Gibson.

Bari: Basilica of Saint Nicolas, patron of the city, of Russia and Greece. The ancient town, the boulevard (Lungomare), where in summer till far after midnight local families gather to chat, eat, BBQ, stroll, play chess and cards. Beautiful shops, Castle, Ferries to Greece and Albania...The 'Notte di Stelle' Jazz concerts in July.

Monopoli with is cathedral, defence-wall and tower, several beeches, picturesque fishing harbour, archaeological excavations at Saveletri and museum. A very good Fish restaurant at the edge of Monopoli and an other at Saveletri.

Martina Franca with its Ducal Palace, Byzantine Mosaic , ancient city, beautiful shops. At the entrance to the ancient part of Martina Franca two good restaurants where you can eat at the terrace and a bar where you can lunch very well with their antipasti at the terrace.

The famous Itrie Valley with Ostuni, the White City.

Taranto: Marine harbour, Greek temple and -museum, famous for its fresh mussels and fish. Many elegant shops, nice walk along the boulevard.

Wine- and Olive routes.

Baroque everywhere, with Lecce as its capital. This city deserves a whole day!
