Armoina Boat & Breakfast
Armonia is a schooner constructed at the Rondolini yards of Pesaro in 1964 based on the original plans of Captain Eugenio Busetto, who with a genius ahead of his time designed a hull with rear maximum beam, double helm, and optimal sailing capabilities.
The hull was made from oak, the plating from mahogany, teak for the deck, and Douglas fir for the masts of 22 and 31 meters. The result was an exemplary sailing boat, which for years, travelling the seas of Sardinia and Liguria, thrilled all who met her.
Armonia is a “schooner marconi”, equipped to allow control from the rear helm with a crew of only two. The rubber dinghy with rigid structure and powerful outboard motor allows one to approach the most fascinating and hidden inlets
The large interior is luxurious and spacious. Entering from rear helm you arrive in the dining room where, thanks to large windows, you can enjoy a beautiful view at any time of day. The two tables can comfortably seat 14 people. Continuing towards the prow, you reach the passenger cabins via a ladder.
There are two double cabins, each with a bathroom and shower, and a mini apartment composed of a 4-person cabin (two double beds), a single cabin and a bathroom and shower. At the extreme stern, in separate locals, are the kitchen and the crew’s quarters. Under the dining room is the engine room.
The size and usability of the deck has no equal among boats of similar dimensions and assures the guests a relaxed and pleasant sailing experience far from the ocean spray.
The deck offers large spaces both fore and aft of the helm. There are mountable covers to create more shade on hot days.
The stability of the boat and wide deck spaces allow even the youngest sailors to play and crawl in safety.
Life on board.
On board the Armonia, the schedule and rhythm is decided by you, and the crew will take you anywhere you please (navigational laws permitting). During the cruise every task will be handled by the crew, which will not impede you, however, from participating in the sailing and handling of the ship should you so desire.
