Maria Giovanna - a typical Maltese town house has just been renovated. This romantic and elegantly furnished pensione is situated in an excellent location in Marsalforn Bay. It offers a warm yet family atmosphere. All its 15 bedrooms are decorated in a rustic setting with romantic brass/iron beds and antique furniture. Each bedroom enjoys a fresh crispy shower equipped with a hairdryer. Fresh home made breakfast is served daily in the dining room.

There are possibilities of long walks in the tranquility along the rugged coast in the area, taking spectacular natural beauty of Gozo. Besides, the picturesque Salt Pans are within walking distance.

All the buses on Gozo drive to Victoria the main town. Marsalforn is only 7 minutes drive to Victoria or Rabat as is known to the locals. Places of interest where one can visit on Gozo are: The Citadel in Victoria, The Azzure Window, The Crafts Village on the West side of the island.

On the North in Marsalforn Bay there are the Nartural Salt Pans and lovely beaches. In the South there is Xlendi Bay. One cannot miss out the Ggantija Temples - the oldest remains in Europe dating back 3500 years BC. One can also visit beautiful beaches such as Ramla Bay a red sandy beach, Mgarr ix-Xini, San Blas and many more.

There are also water taxis to the Comino where one can also visit the Blue Lagoon - another paradise of the Maltese Islands.
