Casa La Celada is a stunning Spanish property nestling in the foothills of the Sierra Subbética mountains, deep in the beautiful rolling Córdoban countryside.

Set out over three floors, you can choose from three gorgeous double rooms all furnished to an extremely high standard. Our luxury suite has its own sitting room and en suite jacuzzi bathroom with separate walk in Grecian Shower together with His and Hers Basins.

Two further twin bedded rooms complete the intimate and luxurious feel of Casa La Celada.

On the first floor is where you will find your fresh, ample continental breakfast supplemented with fresh fruit, local hams and cheeses. You can enjoy the laughter and warmth around our vast hand crafted marble table, at which time your hosts are available for any queries, booking assistance or planning ideas during your holiday.

Across the hallway you can relax in our huge luxurious sitting room with balcony overlooking the Plaza de San José. You will discover books, games, TV and a multitude of DVDs and videos. In the winter months after a day's skiing, quad biking or snow boarding or after a long walk through the olive groves or a day's sightseeing trips, our roaring fire is lit creating the most wonderful atmosphere by which to read and relax.

The house is equipped with WiFi which you are welcome to use.

Our top floor is where you will discover our outstanding roof terrace with 360 degree views. With covered shady seating area, sunbathing area, barbeque, fridge and six seater jacuzzi hot tub for your enjoyment, you can sit and while the hours away gazing out over the beautiful tranquility of the Córdoban countryside enjoying a good book. In the Summer months, our hot tub is set to a cooling 25 degrees, and around October is raised to 36 degrees for the Winter months.

We ask that our guests provide their own 'Beach' towels however towels can be hired on the premises.

Our location means that within an hour you can be at the beach, the stunning Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens, science museum, Córdoba's Mezquita Mosque, Picasso's Birthplace or the botanical gardens. You can be at Mijas Water Park, zoos, aquariums or ready for boat trips in a little over an hour.

Seville, home to Flamenco and Bull Fighting, is a two hour drive through typical inland Spanish scenery, often driving through miles of sunflower fields.

The Sierra Nevada ski resort can be reached in under two hours. You could be on the slopes having a guided snow boarding or skiing lesson direct from Casa La Celada!

The Sierra Subbética mountain range is mountain bike country, walking country and wonderful for exploring on a motorbike. We can arrange quad biking, horse riding, parapenting, canoeing, hot air ballooning, bicycle hire, potholing, archery, canyoning and paintballing to name a small selection.

We are near fishing, caves and bird watching possibilities.

There are local qualified yoga and pilates instructors together with beauty therapists waiting to massage your aches and pains away.

I enjoyed a delightful stay at Case La Celada in early May. It is a B and B of the very highest standard. The owner, Amanda is very welcoming and aims to make your stay as enjoyable as possible in every way. The roof terrace was great for sunbathing and star gazing. Cordoba is not far and well worth a visit - the Patios Festival was delightful as were the Turkish Baths. The house is well positioned for walking from and the nearby hilltop town of Iznajar has to be visited. Stunning views in all directions and the Lake is gorgeous. ...

We had an excellent stay here in late October. La Celada really is not your everyday B+B... it is truly special and comes highly recommended... Highlights were: sunbathing on the roof terrace on November 1st with stunning views over olive groves. Lovely walk through countryside to town via the lake. Fantastic day in Cordoba within easy reach by car. Delicious Paella cooked by local friend... We will be back! ...

I have spent too many nights over too many years to look forward to yet another night away from home. This was different though!

I had three great days at Casa La Celada just chilling - nothing else - no courses, treatment or group work. From the moment I walked in to be greeted like a long-lost uncle to the moment I bade a sad goodbye I felt RELAXED.

If you want the fleshpots of the coast this is not for you but if you want spotlessly clean rooms /furniture and total relaxation this is the place to be.

I will be back soon - I am just looking for an excuse!!
