Cueva Caballo Cave House B&B in Andalucia

Ahhh .. the minute you step inside this welcoming cave house, you will forget the stresses and irritations of your day to day life! You will feel your cares just fall away as you enjoy your first welcoming cuppa (or a glass of Spain's finest red .. or white!)

Situated in the beautiful white village of Galera in the province of Granada, Cueva Caballo offers the best in bed and breakfast accommodation. You have a choice of two spacious double bedrooms, one of which has a large en suite bathroom, the other is a suite of a double bedroom, a lounge area (with a single 'fold away' bed) and bathroom. We can accommodate up to 4/5 people at any time.

Each bedroom is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, towels and bed linen. In the communal sitting room there is also a choice of books and DVD's and Sky TV.
Breakfast is served outside under the pergola on the pretty patio. The patio is also a lovely place to just relax with a cool drink after a busy day exploring and also for star gazing the night skys - there is no light pollution here.

If you feel the need to leave this idyllic place for a day out, there is plenty to explore in the area. Here is a list of activities in the area and places to visit within a short drive:

* Castril Natural Park
* Granada and the Alhambra (this is one not to miss!)
* Sierra Maria and Velez Rubio & Velez Blanco
* Lake Negratin with its man made beach and water sports and the hot natural spring baths and great restaurant
* Horse riding - we'll book it for you & take you there! For an hour, half or all day. The location is simply stunning
* Mountain biking - we have bikes for hire 3eur each per day
* Walking - Proper walking footware recommended
* Photography - stunning subjects right outside the front door!
* Painting - artists paradise
* Bird watching - right outside the cave!
* Coastal areas include Almeria, Murcia, Costa Tropical
* Skiing - in the Sierra Nevada
* Visit local markets - a different one every day if you want!
* Motor Cycling - if you're a biker....you'll love the wide, mostly empty roads!

** The owner of Cueva Caballo is a professional photographer and is available for 'Photography Days' bookable prior to your arrival. There is an additional charge of £40 per person per day (non participating partner - no extra charge).
