Villa Valeta is a charming old finca offering a warm and friendly welcome. Perfectly located to explore the beautiful region of Valencia, the villa is situated approximately four kilometres from the medieval castle town of Xativa.

The villa has three double bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed with vanity unit/wash basin, air-conditioning unit and additional single bed. Bedrooms 2 and 3 each have double beds. All rooms are tastefully furnished offering tea and coffee making facilities plus room heaters for the colder months. The generous size main bathroom offers shower cubicle, bath, w.c and bidet. A full English or continental breakfast is included in the price.

Downstairs

The shower room includes w.c, shower cubicle, wash basin and electric socket. The guest lounge includes t.v, cd/dvd player, video recorder and satellite decoder (with some English channels). A library of dvds, cds and books. Use of fridge and freezer, plus available on request a microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Outside

The garden has a pretty seating area with dining table and chairs. Sun lounges, splash pool and gas BBQ make this a nice area to relax in.

Approximately 300 meters away from our Villa is a tennis Club/bar restaurant with its own very large Swimming pool. Open to non members, the combination of a friendly atmosphere with good inexpensive food and a bar plus patio areas to relax in, make it a worthwhile visit

The medieval town of Xativa, rich in historical and artistic heritage, offers something for everyone, whether it is an insightful stroll around the old town with its cobbled streets and historic buildings, a chilling out session in a bar, or perhaps a spending spree in one of the many boutiques.

Markets are Tuesdays and Fridays. The market square in the evening (especially at weekends) comes alive with its many bars and night clubs.

The castle, illuminated until the early hours of the morning, is accessible through the old town and for those not up for the walking or driving a tour train is available twice a day.
Valencia city is only a 45 minute train ride from Xativa railway station and costs less than 6 euros return. Barcelona and Madrid by train from Xativa are both approx three and a half hours away. Many award winning beaches are within 40 minutes drive from our villa, these include Tavernes, Cullera, Gandia and Oliva being the nearest.

Activities near Xativa

Go Karting – Horse riding – Balloon Flights – Paragliding – Microlight Flying – Golf – Tennis (300 meters away) – Nightlife. Ricardo Tormo Race Circuit in Cheste where they hold events such as the Motogp.
For the more adventurous there are some great places to walk or cycle at just a short distance from our villa. One of which is along the river to the Cova Negra (Black Cave) with spectacular views on the mountainous countryside, a great area for bird watching, fishing or even some rock climbing. Picnic tables are situated around the area.
