Finca Margaritas (Props. Mark and Maggie Ashley) is a rustic cortijo situated down a rambler one kilometre from the village of Urcal Huercal Overa Almeria Spain.

Finca Margaritas offers for your pleasure, comfort and enjoyment, en suite accommodation, and excellent English restaurant which is open seven days a week for residents and campers you are welcome to pitch anywhere on our land we have facilities for emptying portaloos and water is available clients are responsible for their own elecricity be it generator or sola panels we think we offer one of the most competetive prices here on the costas.

Urcal is a typical small Spanish village with one historic church, one Spanish Bar and one English Bar. The last few years has seen an increase in the English population with many new houses. Ten minutes drive takes you into the main town of Huercal-Overa and it's multitude of shops, it's new modern hospital, it's post office, police station, chemists, restaurants, bars and bodega's. The early 18* century church is set in a large modern open square with it's five central fountains around which are seats where the towns folk gather every morning. Thirty minutes drive brings you to San Juan with it's beautiful Mediterranean beaches.

Finca Margaritas is situated in a tranquil country setting. All around we see the stunning panoramic views of the mountains. Their beauty, over the years, has been recorded by artists and many a writer has captured their serenity in verse. For peace and quiet or just for a quick stop over, you must visit Finca Margaritas and meet our many animals and enjoy our hospitality, homemade cuisine and our freshly baked bread.
