Originally a working farmhouse, the style is what the Spanish call 'rustico', a rural stone built building generating its own power, and tapping into the local water supply. A hundred - even fifty - years ago, the family would have been entirely self-sufficient, only rarely venturing the ten mile distance into Oria for market days and religious festivals.

Start the day with a delicious breakfast, then read or sunbathe in one of our rest areas where the outdoors meets all the comforts of inside. Go for a walk or pop into one of the local Spanish pueblos for a beer and a tapas. After lunch take a dip in the pool or simply siesta. In the evening sip cocktails at the bar while the barbeque heats and then watch a film on the pool terrace.

And all the time you are busy doing nothing, you'll find the special magic of this beautiful spot is doing wonders for you ..

Many of our guests find this gives them the space to discover their inner creativity, whilst others just enjoy recharging their batteries away from the modern world.

Casa Celeste has been lovingly restored to a high standard with an eye for design and detail that is evident throughout the main house.

The result is a living space which is both beautiful and comfortable, where the inside imbues a sense of calm and creativity.

Food is locally sourced and lovingly prepared. Unusually for southern Spain, we are able to supply organic vegetables thanks to our own kitchen garden. Breakfast is available at any time before 11am, and we usually serve a delicious lunch at 2pm (following Spanish meal times). In the evening we often take advantage of the beautiful weather to eat al fresco a 'menu del dia' style meal outside with a carafe of locally produced wine. We cater for all types of eaters, but if you have any special dietary needs please let us know when you book.

We have reformed the Mill House - a separate building to the main house - to provide quality self-catering accommodation to anyone valuing complete seclusion.
