Villa Avellano

Villa Avellano was built in 1999 and has 4 ensuite guest rooms offering stylish and comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation aimed at couples or friends who want to see more of Spain than the beach.

It makes an ideal base for walkers as there are lots of beautiful walks close by. For mountain bikers there are trails to suit most riders and for road cyclists the area is ideal.

For golfers there are also several golf courses within easy reach Lauro (27hole) just 5 minutes away. For bird watchers there are several large birds of prey to be seen and during migration periods they can be seen in large flocks.

For guests who just want to chill out and top up their tan there is the pool and sunloungers to relax you and keep you cool. If you wish to see the sights the Alambra palace at Granada is a 2 hour drive away, Malaga is just 25 minutes (the cathedral, Piccaso museum), Marbella (the old town) 45minutes. The lakes at El Chorro 45mins are well worth the drive for the beautiful scenery.

The caves at Nerja are just over an hours drive and with the completion of the Ave high speed train, Madrid and Cordoba are also possible day visits. There are plenty of good restaurants close by, our local village has 2 bars serving excellent tapas or you can dine with us in the evening. We offer a full English Breakfast with eggs from our own chickens and homemade preserves.

We offer an informal and relaxed atmosphere, guest are welcome to make tea and coffee whenever they like at no extra charge and there is an honesty bar in the lounge.
All rooms are ensuite we provide high quality bedding, towels, pool towels, towelling robes, hair dryers and basic toiletries. Car hire is essential to get the best from your holiday.
