Travelling north up the coast for just over an hour you will arrive at the famous Giants Causeway here you can view 40000 hexagonal stone columns, which have astonished visitors for centuries. A causeway coaster minibus service to the main stone formation operates daily from 10am no visit to this is complete without crossing Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge. The bridge spans a chasm 60 feet wide with a drop of 80 feet. Not for the fainthearted. Car parking is free. There is an admission charge to cross the bridge. This area is owned by the national trust, there is a tearoom and information point.
The worlds oldest licensed whiskey distillery licensed in 1608 offers conducted tours the distillery is known as the Old Bushmills Distillery and is located in and around the area of the Giants Causeway.
