Tara House
Tara House is a family run bed and breakfast, and we pride ourselves in delievering exceptionally comfortable and modern accommodation located in a quiet area with splendid views of Knocklayde Mountain.
Tara House is a 5 minute walk into the town centre, or a normal taxi fare would cost 2.50. Tara House is located within 15 minutes drive of the Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-Reid Rope Bridge, Dunluce Castle, Bushmills Distillery and all other popular tourist attractions within the north coast area also local bus runs available from outside the premises including a town service run.
Tara House will be undergoing modern updates this year to make 2010 an even better stay for our guests. We have had fantastic feedback from our guests which is openly displayed in the lounge and dining room for guests to review. Local entertainment, shops, pubs, swimming pool, horseriding, playpark are all within 5 - 10 minute walk from the property. We do our ultimate best to help guests enjoy their stay on the North Coast.
Early 2010 will bring the introduction of all rooms being En=Suite giving guests their own privacy. We have also introduced a patio area at the back of the property where guests can use for smoking area as it is now illegal to smoke in business premises, this will allow for guests to relax in much anticipated good weather, and also patio heaters will be provided. There is also a guest lounge where an open fire is usually lit and again this is an extra room for our guests to enjoy.
We have also provided fresh mountain water free for all our guests available from the cooler in the dining room which helps quench the thirst after a long day at tourist attractions such as the Giants Causeway. Fresh soft towels are provided for all guests as well as shower gel and shampoo. If guests require if available we can tumble dry and wash clothes at a small fee. Wireless internet is also available throughout the property.
