Cottage Heights Bed & breakfast and restaurant can be found on the Glengarriff road 1KM from the centre of Castletownbere on the beautiful Ring of Beara approximately two hours drive from Cork airport and 45 minutes from Kenmare.
Offering superior en suite accommodation with a choice of single, double, twin or family rooms.
All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and a television and hairdryers and irons are available on request. There is a large private car park and disabled residents can park right beside the main entrance.
The panoramic views take in Bere Island, Bantry Bay and the lively harbour of Castletownbere. Attached to the B&B is our A La Carte restaurant offering a range of dishes including steaks, lamb and vegetarian options and specialising in locally caught seafood.
The restaurant also has an Early Bird menu of 2 courses for €18.50 which is available to residents all evening.
Activities which are available in Beara include walking, climbing, shore & sea fishing, diving, kayaking, sailing, cycling, golf, tennis, horse riding as well as having a wealth of sites of historical interest.
The Call of the Sea museum in Castletownbere is well worth a visit and charts the history of fishing in the town. Allihies beach is a glorious sandy strand created using waste from the old tin mines and is a very popular location for both swimming & beach fishing.
The many pubs in the town provide plenty of entertainment and are the ideal place in which to meet new friends and enjoy a pint or two.
