Carrick Lodge

Carrick lodge is a modern family home, situated two miles from Limavady, and seven miles from Dungiven. Our home has been newly constructed five years ago and offers modern day comforts.

We are situated in a very quiet area, but still within two minutes drive to the local town Limavady. From the rooms on offer you will enjoy the spectacular views of the Sperrin Mountains.

The garden is for guests use also. We have ample off street parking, and literally across the road you will enjoy the beautiful Roe Valley Country Park where you have a lovely river side walk or fishing if preferred.

The country park also provides a cafe alongside the museum. Locally there are many activities available such as hoovercrafting, orienteering, motor sports, fishing or horse riding. Nearby we have Benone blue flag beach, Benone complex and outdoor pool and a nine hole golf course.

Alternatively why not vist Dungiven Priory which is steeped in history and where Finvola 'The Gem of The Roe' is buried, or explore the beautiful Castle garden park of twenty acres offering many features including walks, stone wall garden, butterfly garden, bird watching or the wildlife pond.

Carrick Lodge is also convenient to the Antrim costal route with its specular scenery. Here you can visit the world wide known, famous Giants Causeway or the Carrick A'Reed Rope Bridge or the Bushmills Whiskey distillery.

Or perhaps also explore the historical city of Derry and walk the famous walls and visit the beautiful Cathedrals. Derry also offers many theatres, restaurants, bars and leaves you just a few miles from the beautiful Donegal Hills.
