Rockville B&B is just over 2km. from Westport on a quiet hillside with award winning landscaped gardens, breathtaking views of Creggan lough, Clew Bay, Croagh Patrick and many more mountain ranges and interesting landscapes. It is advisable to check the directions on the web site for getting here.
It is a modern home with spacious double rooms on the ground floor, single & family rooms on the first floor. All beds have electric blankets and hair dryers are supplied. There is a TV lounge and conservatory with tea making facilities for guests, car parking and extensive breakfast menu. We offer internet access and free Wifi for those with their own laptop.
Mary will personally welcome you with a cup of tea and some home baking.
Westport is a good base for a few days rest where you can play golf on our 18-hole championship course or one of the challenging 9 hole courses or drive a little further to one of the links courses. Climb Croagh Patrick or go for a relaxed walk through the woods or by the sea.
Visit the national museum of country life or Clew Bay heritage centre to get an insight into the way previous generations of Irish people lived. Go for a stroll on one of our beaches or relax in one of the leisure centres. A walk through the 17th century town with its modern shops and floral displays is a must for any visitor. Savour the atmosphere in one of the local pubs where you will often find good music and craic.
Come home to Rockville where the atmosphere is very relaxed and accommodating and we look forward to meeting you here some day.
