Artists’ Colony Inn is an old, unique stone building in the Artist Colony Safed Israel. The Artists Colony Inn was restored under the inspiration of architect, Ofir Asiass. The result is perfect harmony between the old and the new architectural styles of Safed Israel.

The Artists' Colony Inn, a boutique hotel in Safed, Israel, has four exquisitely designed guestrooms with Jacuzzis or extra large shower, air conditioning, heating, romantic inner courtyards, views of the breathtaking mountains of the Galilee, the majestic Meron Mountain and the old Artist Colony of Safed. We have large and comfortable beds, soft bathrobes, LCD televisions and a lobby where you can enjoy a cup of espresso or a variety of teas as you sit and take advantage of the library or wireless internet connection.

You will also enjoy a large kosher Israeli breakfast (Rabbanut Safed Israel), which includes locally made cheeses and jams.

For your convenience, guided tours of the Artist Colony and Old Safed and the Galilee are given by Jeff, a licensed tour guide. Pamper yourself too with a massage by a professional masseuse or learn the meaning of Kabbalah from one of Safed’s famous Kabbalah teachers. (Bookings must be made in advance.) Jeff, the owner of Artists' Colony Inn, is a licensed tour guide with the Ministry of Tourism, but more than that, he will share his love and knowledge of this country with you. He will make the landscape come alive with stories and tales. Jeff, who was an officer in the IDF’s Artillery Corps, will take you to lookout and observation points and explain the complex military and security situations in the region. He will take you to many interesting places, be it hi-tech industry, agricultural settlements, award winning wineries, an olive oil soap factory, archaeological sites, historical towns, nature walks, Druze and Circassian villages, and many more fun filled activities that will enrich your Israel experience.

Jeff was born in Toronto, Canada. He moved to Israel when he was 19. After his army service, Jeff attended the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where he received a BSc in Civil Engineering. Jeff also worked in hi-tech industries.
