Dellina Palm Cottage offers traditional homestay bed & breakfast accommodation. This large majestic home is set in the leafy surrounds of Ryde & Meadowbank, 20 kms away from the centre of Sydney with its galleries, museums, & the Sydney Opera House & International airport & a half hour ferry/bus or train trip to the heart of the City or Parramatta.

Dellina Palm Cottage has built up a reputation as a clean & friendly place to stay, & is visited by overseas & local guests all year round.

The facility provides you everything you need when you’re on your travels. As you walk through the front entrance you will feel the warmth of Dellina’s history whispering to you.

Rates:
All rates are per room per night, in Australian Dollars & include GST. Breakfast is included.

Homestay with Shared Bathroom -
The Hibiscus, Rose, & Rosemary Rooms
$75.00 - single occupancy
$120.00 - double occupancy

Gardenia & Frangipani Rooms
$75.00 per night

The Strawberry and Lily Rooms
$85 - single occupancy
$140 - double occupancy

Extra Adult
$40.00 per night

Extra Child - under 10 yrs
$20.00 per night

Long Stays
Discount rate of 10% for longer stays (7 nights or more). Please enquire when you confirm availability.

OVERSEAS Student Accommodation
Please ring for details for TAFE & University short homestay accommodation at special rates. Over 18 years of age.

Whilst there is a non-smoking policy inside, guests are welcome to smoke on balconies and outside.

Parking:
Parking is available at the rear of the building. Entrance is on MacPherson St, Meadowbank.

Posting facilities:
A red (general mail) Postage box is located at the rear entrance.

Transport
With public transport (bus) available from the front door and the city centre only 20 minutes away this makes Dellina Palm Cottage a very convenient and comfortable place for your stay. Only 5 minutes to the Ferry and Train Station which will take you to Parramatta, Home Bush Bay, Blue Mountains, City and many more areas.

To and From the airport:
From airport to DPC: Bookings can be arranged for your pick up from the airport by the Airport Shuttle Service.
Return to the airport from DPC: can also be arranged with the shuttle Service or by one of the DPC staff (Charges apply).

Train from Airport to DPC: You can catch a train from the Airport to Central Station, and then from Central Station to Meadowbank Station which is then a 5 minute walk to Dellina Palm Cottage.
DPC to Airport by Train: From Meadowbank station to Central Station and then another train to the Airport.

Taxi from the airport: Many are available as you walk outside the airport.
Taxi from DPC to Airport: Can be arranged.

Train: A short 5 minute stroll to Meadowbank Station will get you to many wonderful destination within Sydney and it's greater regions such as Bondi, the City of Sydney (in 20 minutes), Homebush Olympic Park, The North Shore, Hornsby, Parramatta, Blue Mountains and many more.

Bus: At the front door will take you to Meadowbank Ferry, the City, Parramatta, Macquarie Centre/University, and many more locations.

Ferry: A 5 minute stroll to the end of our street and you can travel to many destinations along Sydney's wonderful Harbour and see famous sites such as the Opera House, Luna Park and the Harbour Bridge. A linking Ferry from Circular Quay can also take you to Taronga Zoo.

Accommodation Terms & Conditions

General:
Please let us know your Flight Number and expected arrival time in Sydney to ensure that someone will be able to meet you when you arrive at Dellina Palm Cottage Home Stay.

Credit Cards:
Dellina Palm Cottage accepts Cash, MasterCard, Visa, Amex (1.5% surcharge on Amex) and EFTPOS.
Cheques will not be accepted.
Please note that by providing your credit card details you are confirming your agreement to our Terms and Conditions and you are authorising Dellina Palm Cottage to charge your credit card for such things as cancellation costs, and breakages.

Deposits:
In order to confirm your booking and secure your reservation, the following deposit is required by credit card:
1 night stay = 1 night deposit (full amount of stay)
2 night stay = 2 night deposit (full amount of stay)
3 or more night stay = 3 night deposit

Deposits can be made by phone: (overseas call: &61 2 9809 3614), (interstate or country call 02 9809 3614) with your credit card details and expiry date.
By fax or email: 02 9809 7406. If you wish to send your credit Card details by fax or email, for security reasons please ensure the information of your card is sent in two faxes/emails rather than all in one.

Check In - Check Out Time:
Check In: 2.00 pm - unless other arrangements have been made.
Check Out: 10.00 am - later times may be possible by prior arrangement.

Cancellation Policy:
When making a booking, we request that you confirm your booking with VISA or Mastercard details by fax or telephone.
If the booking is cancelled within 14 days prior to your arrival, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of your total booking will be charged.
For cancellations within 7 days prior to arrival, a cancellation fee equal to 60% of your total booking will be charged.
Cancellations within 48 hours prior to arrival will be charged a cancellation fee of 80% of your total booking.
No refund will be issued for cancellations within 24 hours prior to arrival or after you have checked in, unless we are able to rebook your room(s).
